The Saxena Family Foundation
501(c) (3) registered non-profit organization focused on family, education and healthcare issues. Founded in 2002, our mission is to advance inventive and effective ways of empowering women. Because discrimination on the basis of sex often starts at the earliest stages of life, the foundation has particular focus on initiatives that enable equality and empower the girl child and young women ensuring that women have equal rights later in life.
As a family and as a Foundation, we work together to implement Manoj and Shubhada's personal creed of "doing well by doing good" and their conviction that, by starting with children, we can bring forth the best. The Foundation's geographic focus is on communities where members of the Saxena family have deep roots: United States and India. We also work selectively with organizations such as Global Giving and World Vision to identify and address the needs of needy and disadvantaged women around the world.
